Divya Gurwara, CEO of Bridal Asia and yoga exponent Nishi Singh come together to host a cocktail evening at TK's at Hyatt Regency for a select gathering to jointly present the bridal collection by Pam Mehta at Bridal Asia 2011.
Emphasizing that Bridal Asia has been consistent as a platform for designers to showcase, unveil and launch their bridal line, Divya says "In its 13 years, Bridal Asia has launched many a designer careers by bringing them designers into the forefront." In keeping with stylish times and its penchant for beauty and colour, Kisneel by Pam introduces its new bridal and festive collection for 2011.
Vibrant and sensual, the collection marks the infusion of colours, embellishments and fabric, held together by Kisneel's trademark thread-work, the ensembles define luxury styling with a range of gowns, saris, lehengas and anarkalis. Embellishments such as swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, sequins, tassels and hand-made beads along with fine embroidery in gold and silver threads complete each look.
The fabric used is mostly georgette, chiffon and net that makes each silhouette wearable, sensual and thus complementing the look of the garment. Anarkalis and gowns worked upon with intricate thread-work and feminine drapes, make for a glamorous evening-out. While the lehengas and saris, tweaked with modern design sensibilities and cuts, assure us of a fetching bride or bridesmaid. Inspired from the four seasons and all things natural, animal and peacock prints imbue a feisty appeal to the collection, much to the experimental fashionista's delight.
